At what age should my child have a hearing test?+
All newborns should be screened before leaving the hospital. Follow-up testing is recommended at ages 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10, or sooner if you notice signs of hearing difficulty.
How long does a pediatric hearing test take?+
Most pediatric evaluations take 30 to 45 minutes depending on the child's age and cooperation level.
Will my child need to sit still?+
For younger children, we use play audiometry that allows movement while still getting accurate results.
